As the Owner and Elite director of Dance Invasion this is not only Jami's job but her life. Jami's love for dance and children together with her many years of experience will ensure your comfort in the knowledge that your Child will be getting quality dance education with the happiest and most experienced instructor's in the area.
Jami Byrd received a Dance scholarship to the University of Southern Mississippi where she attained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. She was the member of the prestigious Dixie Darling dance team and studied all forms of dance from a faculty trained at Juilliard.
In High School, Jami had first hand experience in cheerleading and dance teams performing at the 1990 Super Bowl. She has performed in Musicals and National Competitions where she won the coveted spot with the Dance Olympus Touring Company. During this time she performed in New York, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Disney World under the direction of world famous performers such as Frank Hatchett, Jo Rowan, Greg Russell and Art Stone.
In 1998, Jami was instrumental in forming and directing the University of Texas Maverick Star Dance Team in Arlington Texas.
In 2002 Jami took on one of her most treasured roles of teaching a group of "Special Needs" students primarily Down Syndrome. Jami's love for these children and young Adults is evident in the love she receives back. This class has grown from a small group of 5 to the 11 amazing students that took the stage at Recital in 2008. Jami believes every child has the right to dance and proves that with love, perseverance and belief anything is possible.
Jami is an award winning choreographer, heading up Dance Invasion's Elite Company Team and is looking forward to yet another successful year.

Christine Lewis began her dance career under the direction of Frances Lea. For several years she was a member of the Frances Lea Clogging Company. She continued her dance training under the direction of Anne Bennett at Lisa's Dance Center (later to be known as Just Dancin') . This is where she also began her teaching career. In 2006, she joined the staff of Dance Invasion when it's director, Jami Byrd, acquired Just Dancin'.

Elizabeth started dance at age 5 and was a Competitve Dancer for 10 years. She began her teaching career in 1992 and has been teaching here at Dance Invasion since 2005.
Dance Invasion is honored to have Elizabeth teach our children. With her experience, dedication and obvious love for the children, her knowledge and vast experience has become invaluable to our program here at Dance Invasion.
Elizabeth has worked in all facets of a Dance Studio including Instructor, Choreographer, Office Assistant and in 2007-2008 Elizabeth held the position of Precision Director in which she Managed and the Directed Dance Invasion's successful Precision Team.
Elizabeth has experience with dancers from 2 - Adult but especially loves the little ones, which she shows in her patience, love and understanding. Her teaching and choreography experience is in the following genres. Ballet,Tap,Tumbling,Jazz,Hip Hop,Lyrical,Musical Theater,Clogging,Pom,Prop & Turns and Leaps.
Elizabeth is the current Choreographer for Boles Junior High Show Choir and has been in this position sincce 2002.
This year will be an exciting year as Elizabeth not only will be doing what she loves best - teaching children and adults to dance, but will be Dance Invasion's Show Group Coordinator with the responsibility of organizing, representing our managing our Show Group to preformances throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.
She is married and has 3 beautiful children.

INSTRUCTOR
Stevo started dance in his senior year at a local dance studio in Odessa Texas and only a year later became the Assistant Dance Coach for a Competitive Dance Team, as well as the Choreographer of an indoor Football League Dance Team.
Stevo attended Texas A & M where he was part of the West Texas A&M Dance Company where he studied under Edward Truitt. Stevo was part of this company for two years. While in School Stevo studied under such well known names as Caitlin Conley and Wade Robson better known from the Successful Television Show SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE .
In 2006 Stevo was instrumental in forming a successful dance team at Cheer Texas. He taught at local studios in Oklahoma City from 2006-2008.
Before joining Dance Invasion, Stevo has been a guest Choregrapher throughout the DFW Metroplex.
Stevo is a full time Choreographer here at Dance Invasion, wowing the kids with his amazing, fresh dance style. Stevo is currently teaching our Hip Hop Classes as well as doing Choreography for our Competition Groups. Stevo teaches most facets of dance, but his love and passion lie in Jazz and Lyrical.

Casey has been dancing for 16 years with many of those years at Competition Level. Casey has been awarded many first place overalls in her solo and group routines and has also been awarded titles at various competitions throughout the years
Casey is proficient in all forms of dance; Ballet, pointe, lyrical, modern, tap, jazz, clogging and more.
Casey graduated from high school in the 2006. She also completed courses at Texas Tech University, and is now taking classes at Tarrant County College.
Casey loves nothing more than to dance and teach dance. She loves the students she works with and they equally love her.
